Important notice
In the light of the global pandemic of coronavirus COVID-19, with the desire to help in combating the spreading of the disease, Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Ottawa and Consulate General of the Republic of Croatia in Mississauga are temporarily suspending all of their consular days until further notice.
Also, starting from Friday March 13, 2020 until further notice the Embassy and the Consulate General will be receiving clients as follows:
ONLY and EXCLUSIVELY based on an appointment,
only for urgent matters; this includes only Croatian nationals and urgent matters (such as travel certificates for traveling to Croatia and authorization for transport of the deceased to Croatia),
until further notice, there will be no appointments for non-urgent matters, which refers to all foreign citizens (e.g. citizenship applications and visas),
only the following persons will be admitted:
who do not have infection symptoms,
who have not visited countries with established quarantines due to coronavirus within the previous 14 days,
who have not contacted with confirmed or suspected carriers of the coronavirus.
The Embassy and the Consulate General kindly ask all visitors to bring with them their own pens for filling out forms and to uphold recommended prevention measures.
