The Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Ottawa participated to the “Doors open” event held in Ottawa in June 3 and 4, 2006.
The building owned by Croatian Embassy is on the list of the cultural heritages in Ottawa. More then 1500 visitors arrived in the Embassy over the weekend and they were introduced to the building bought in 1994 and reconstructed with the donation and assistance of Croatian Community in Canada.
Croatian participation was covered by the local media - “Ottawa Citizen” , “A Chanal” and “Ottawa television”.
The Embassy took this opportunity to present the art work of Mr Ivo Pervan, the leading Croatian art photographer. His latest photo collection “Undiscovered Croatia” was presented and drew the interest of many visitors to futher explore Croatia.
