On May 19, 2012 Ambassador Veselko Grubišic attended the 38th annual Croatian Canadian Folk Festival that was this year hosted by the Župna kolo grupa "Kardinal Alojzije Stepinac" from Windsor, ON. MP Jeff Watson was also a guest of hounour, as well as the Croatian Consul-General, Ljubinko Matešic.
On May 19, 2012 Ambassador Veselko Grubišic attended the 38th annual Croatian-Canadian Folk Festival that was this year hosted by the Župna kolo grupa "Kardinal Alojzije Stepinac" from Windsor, ON. MP Jeff Watson was also a guest of hounour, as well as the Croatian Consul-General, Ljubinko Matešic.
All three guests of honour have addressed the participants and the invitees of the Festival, emphasizing the precious and long-standing tradition of cultivating the Croatian cultural heritage in the communities abroad. A well attended event has brought together more than 20 folkloric groups from all over Canada and several from the United States.
