Croatian Embassy and the Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA) were co-organizers of the Seminar on the Croatian tourist offer beyond standard tourist routes and high season held at the Croatian Embassy on 22 November 2019. The event was made possible by the generous support of the Croatian National Tourist Board. The initiative to organize seminar was launched and confirmed during visits to Japan then Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Marija Pejcinovic Buric and Speaker of the Croatian Parliament Gordan Jandrokovic earlier this year. Seminar was attended by 23 tourism related companies and representatives of media. The goal of the seminar was to initiate development of new Croatian tourist products for the Japanese market. For that purpose the audience was introduced to a number of attractive events organized throughout the year all around Croatia, particularly those beyond traditional tourist destinations. There will be more seminars with similar concept organized during the coming year.
