Package holidays in Croatia and Croatian wines were presented in the city of in Naha on the Okinawa Island in a series of events organized by the Japanese company Jumbo Tours on the 23rd of April 2016. In a separate workshop, the audience was introduced to the Croatian wine market by winemaker Milenko Rajic from Zadar. Ambassador Hrastic addressed the guests at the two events, both well attended, inviting the Japanese to visit Croatia. During his stay in Naha Ambassador Hrastic also met with Takeshi Onaga, governor of Okinawa, Mikiko Shiroma, Mayor of Naha, Yukikazu Kokuba, president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Okinawa and several local businessmen.
