Comprehensive Agreement on 2018 - 2020 Training Camps for the Croatian JK Mornar International Sailing Laser Team Signing Ceremony in Sakaiminato City, Tottori Prefecture

The Comprehensive agreement on 2018 -2020 Training Camps for the Croatian JK Mornar International Sailing Laser was signed in Sakaiminato City, Tottori Prefecture on 17 October 2018. With this agreement the sailing team from Croatia gets the superb conditions for training for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. Japanese partners will host world class sailors that besides the training would be involved in competitions, promotional and educational sailing related activities. The signing ceremony was attended by Shinji Hirai, governor of the Tottori Prefecture, Katsuji Nakamura, mayor of Sakaiminato City and other officials as well as Jozo Jakelic, coach of the sailing team with team members from five countries including Japan. The JK Mornar Sailing Team has already started with training program. The team will also compete at the Laser All Japan Championship from 1st-4th November. Ambassador Hrastic attended the signing ceremony and separately officially met governor Hirai and Mayor Nakamura.
