The recently-appointed Ambassador štambuk relayed to Minister Nakasone the greetings and congratulations by Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Gordan Jandrokovic.

The recently-appointed Ambassador štambuk relayed to Minister Nakasone the greetings and congratulations by Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Gordan Jandrokovic.
Ambassador štambuk informed Minister Nakasone about Croatia's EU and NATO accession, with Minister Nakasone saying that Croatia's EU and NATO membership will further strengthen Japan's interest in Croatia, a friendly country with which Japan has no outstanding issues and realizes excellent economic cooperation in the fishing industry.
Ambassador štambuk pointed out the growing interest among Japanese businessmen for investing in Croatia, due to its geostrategic position and a good transport infrastructure linking the Adriatic with the Central European countries. Minister Nakasone expressed satisfaction with the growing number of Japanese tourists visiting Croatia.
