The delegation of Zabok City of Croatia visited SanMenXia City

The delegation of Zabok City of Croatia visited SanMenXia City of China, which has 2,3 million population, from 18 to 20 May 2012. The Croatian delegation headed by Mr. Ivan Hanžek the Major of the City of Zabok Major, and Mrs. Nevenka Gregurić, Vice-Major of the City of Zabok had a meetings with a senior officials of the Municipal Government of SanMenXia regarding the development of further cooperation on various fields including economy, trade, investment, culture, sports and other areas between the two cities

The delegation of Zabok City of Croatia visited SanMenXia City of China, which has 2,3 million population, from 18 to 20 May 2012. The five-member Croatian folk (tamburica) bend named Contra bend from Zabok leaded by Željko Grozaj had very successful performance in front of 40-thousand spectators during the Opening ceremony of the 18. Yellow River Festival. 

The nine-member of the Croatian delegation was accompanied by the Economic Counsellor from the Croatian Embassy in Beijing. The Croatian delegation had other useful meetings and visits. They met Party leader Mr. Yang Shuping and Major Mrs. Zhao Haiyan and visited leading business enterprises as well as famous natural and cultural heritage places. The delegation from the SanMenXia City is expected to visit the City of Zabok and the Republic Croatia in June 2012.
