State Secretary Hido Biščević received Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China Wu Lianqi
State Secretary for Political Affairs Hido Biščević separately received on 8 November 2007 Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium Marc de Schoutheete de Tervarent and Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China Wu Lianqi.
State Secretary for Political Affairs Hido Biščević separately received on 8 November 2007 Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium Marc de Schoutheete de Tervarent and Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China Wu Lianqi.
During the meeting with Ambassador de Tervarent, both sides expressed satisfaction with the high level of relations between the two countries, and State Secretary Biščević took the opportunity to thank for the support Belgium has been offering Croatia on its path towards the EU and NATO membership.
During the meeting with Ambassador Wu Lianqi, it was pointed out that the political relations between Croatia and China, both bilaterally and multilaterally, are well-developed, stressing the need for a further enhancement of the economic and health co-operation.
The meetings with the Belgian and Chinese ambassadors also saw the exchange of opinions about the current political and security situation in South Eastern Europe.
