Pianist Maksim Mrvica on yet another successful tour in China
Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia in the People's Republic of China Professor Dr. Ante Simonić met on 10 November 2009 with Mr. Maksim Mrvica, the renowned pianist from the Croatian coastal city of Šibenik. He then enjoyed, together with his spouse and fellow Croatian diplomats, the unique performance by Mr. Mrvica in the prestigious Poly Theater auditorium that was filled to capacity.

Maksim, as he is called by the Chinese people, has been very popular over here for years; the sold-out concerts for his current mini-tour in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Beijing bear proof of his popularity in China. Next month, Maksim will come back to China again to perform in the cities of Qingdao (December 4), Hangzhou (December 5), Chongching (December 11) and Changsha (December 13).
