A meeting with the mayor of Lezhe, Mr. Fran Frrokaj, was held on 2 March 2017 in Lezhe to discuss the possibilities of cooperation in the field of agriculture and tourism. During the conversation, it was proposed to connect the city of Lezhe and its port in Shengjin with the city of Zadar, due to the many similarities and the great indigenous Albanian minority in Zadar. The second part of the program included the visit to one of the most successful construction companies from the city Lezhe. The owner of the company JUNIK sh.p.k., Mr. Ded Malutaj, has presented his company and its projects. Mr Malutaj expressed his willingness to cooperate with a Croatian company/partner to start the catamaran line Shengjin-Dubrovnik (or further to Zadar) during the season.
