Croatia and Albania from the Air

In the same hall of the National Historic Museum in Tirana where the Reception was held on 2 July 2013 on the occasion of the celebration of Croatia"s accession to the EU, during the Reception an exhibition of art photography was opened titled „Croatia and Albania from the Air“, with both authors present - the renown Croatian art photographer Mr Nenad Reberšak and the Albanian master of art photography Mr Alket Islami. These two photography artists have been cooperating for several years by now. In Croatia they have mounted six joint exhibitions, whereas in Albania this was the first joint exhibition of theirs. Nenad Reberšak and Alket Islami are out of the ordinary for shooting photos from the air, Nenad Reberšak from a plane, Alket Islami while paragliding. The colourful splendour and the unusual beauty of the landscapes captured from an unusual perspective, for a human being, have literally enchanted the invitees, thus contributing significantly to the ceremonial celebration of Croatia"s membership in the EU.
