Representatives of the Dubrovnik Tourist Board and of several Dubrovnik tourist agencies and media were visiting Albania end of March. The visit was organized by the Albanian Embassy in Croatia, the Albanian Honorary Consul in Dubrovnik Ivan Gjurašic, and the Dubrovnik and Albanian tourist agencies. In Tirana there was a presentation of the tourist potential of Dubrovnik and its surroundings, and future cooperation was agreed upon with the Albanian partner agencies in form of a complementary conception of mutual tourist offers. In the framework of the study visit, a sightseeing tour of natural and cultural sites was organized in several Albanian cities.
In the Embassy of Croatia in Tirana the delegation was received by Ambassador Sanja Bujas-Juraga. The Ambassador expressed her satisfaction with the fact that cooperation was established between Croatian and Albanian tourist agents that will include exchange of tourist offers and “joint tourist packages”.
