B2B talks between Croatian and Albanian companies in the frame of the study tour of the delegation from Šibenik-Knin County

Croatian delegation consisted of the representatives of the public, private and tourism sectors from šibenik-Knin County has visited Tirana from 22 to 26 November 2016 as a part of their study tour. The trip was organized by a travel agency Cromovens from šibenik with support of the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Tirana. Embassy organized the visit of the delegates to the Albanian institutions. The aim of the study tour was to get acquainted with the possibilities and potentials in Albania as a whole, encourage the cooperation between the Croatian and Albanian companies and the realization of direct contact with representatives of Albanian institutions and companies. A small business forum and B2B talks between Croatian and Albanian companies was held on the initiative of the Croatian Embassy in Tirana in the cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tirana. Host of the event was President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Nikolin Jaka who has highlighted the tourism, agriculture, energy and transport as specific areas for cooperation. He emphasized the need for the development of bilateral economic relations and holding a joint forums and B2B meetings more often. Following the interest shown by Croatian companies, a vast number of Albanian businessmen and representatives of other institutions responded to request for a meeting. The program was attended by representatives of seven Croatian companies from various sectors, including: Medita Inox, Pronig, DOK-ING, Girk Kalun, Zagreb-montaža, MIAB, Marinetek NCP.
