Inaugural Visit of Consul General Dr. Ivana Zerec to Istanbul Governor Davut Gül

During her inaugural visit to the new Governor of Istanbul, Mr. Davut Gül, Consul General Dr. Ivana Zerec confirmed the strong political, economic, and cultural ties between the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Türkiye.

She particularly emphasized that starting from this year, Croatian language can be learned at Istanbul University, and the number of tourist visits between our countries is increasing, especially in the field of nautical tourism. Croatia is celebrating its entry into the Schengen and Eurozone this year, as well as the tenth anniversary of EU membership. These events were marked with a concert in the historic Basilica Cistern.
