On Monday, June 23, 2025, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman participated in the Foreign Affairs Council (FAC) meeting held in Brussels.

The main topics of the meeting included continued support for Ukraine in the context of Russian aggression, the situation in the broader Middle East and North Africa region — with a focus on Gaza, Libya, Iran, and Israel — as well as EU-China relations in light of the upcoming Strategic Dialogue on July 2, 2025.

Grlić Radman emphasized that Croatia has stood by Ukraine from day one and will continue advocating for strong European military and humanitarian support. He also warned of broader security threats stemming from instability in the Middle East and North Africa, including the humanitarian situation in Gaza and the escalation of tensions between Iran and Israel. Additionally, the minister underscored the importance of a unified European approach toward China.
