Meeting with the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China responsible for relations with Europe

Beijing, 6 February 2026. The Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to the People's Republic of China, M.Sc. Dario Mihelin, held a meeting with the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China responsible for relations with Europe, Hua Chunying, to discuss the plan of bilateral activities for 2026 on the eve of the Chinese New Year.
 
During the meeting, the interlocutors assessed that the two countries have friendly and stable relations and stressed the importance of further strengthening overall cooperation, especially strengthening economic cooperation and better connectivity between the two countries by introducing direct flights. Opinions were exchanged on current foreign policy issues, especially on relations between the European Union and China.
