Croatian Wine Featured at the European Gourmet Voyage in Shanghai

Shanghai, 21 April 2026. The Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to the People's Republic of China Dario Mihelin, MSc, participated in the European Gourmet Voyage in Shanghai, organized by the Agricultural Section of the EU Delegation, which also presented interesting Croatian wine.
 
It was a signature VIP event designed to bring together more than 100 guests from the Chinese food and beverage industry around food, stories, and shared moments. Key decision-makers, influencers, and media were immersed in the world of high-quality EU agri-food products, with a special focus on Geographical Indications (GIs), culinary creativity, and premium storytelling.
 
Ambassador Mihelin shared the story of Croatian wine and food, enticing industry's interest to bring more fine Croatian products to China, from olive oil, cheese, truffles and wine, to tuna and charcuterie. This time it was Vinas Mora winery's natural cuvée Barbba, from Primošten, with its fresh taste, famous for bringing the terroir of historic sunbathed stone vineyards of Babić and other local varieties in Primošten and Šibenik area.
 
Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed curated tasting menus featuring product presentations and storytelling delivered directly by the chef Johnny Gu and sommelier Daniela Fu, amid a relaxed networking atmosphere set against the iconic Shanghai skyline.
