Ambassador Mihelin at the High-Level Business Dialogue of the Chinese IBI Platform for Industrial Internet and B2B e-commerce
Ambassador Mihelin presented the possibilities of cooperation with Croatia, emphasizing that Croatia attaches great importance to the further development of cooperation with China in all areas of mutual interest, especially in the areas of economy, tourism, science, culture, sports and people-to-people contacts. "Croatia is open to doing business with China, and successful projects of Chinese companies testify to this." He emphasized that Croatia, with strong political stability and long-term economic growth, an investment-grade credit rating and on track to join the OECD this year, has many factors that make it a good place to invest and do business, such as a strategic location, competitive investment costs and a skilled workforce. He invited the IBI leadership to visit and work with Croatia to explore cooperation opportunities in areas such as cross-border e-commerce, port logistics and green energy, in cooperation with the Embassy and the Croatian Chamber of Commerce Office in Shanghai.
IBI, founded in 2002 and listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (603613.SH), is one of China's leading industrial Internet platforms and B2B e-commerce platforms, and has been named a "Top 1 A-share" industrial Internet stock. In 2023, the revenue reached 50.6 billion yuan, with a total gross availability of more than 200 billion yuan.
